DELL EMC unity 300..and Nexus 93180YC Switch unable to ping issue.

I have configured DELL EMC unity 300..and Nexus 93180YC Switch configured as a this is point-to-point connection with fiber cable ten-giga, when i configure layer3 interface only IP address, so i can ping it from both devices. but whenever i configure ip address with vlan number so i can't ping it and protocol is down from nexus end.but interface is up..
