asynchronous replication session from Site A to Site B

is there any impact to the replication status if i disable the 'used as backup only' option do i need to recreate synchronous replication session from Site A to Site B

No you can clear that tick box without affecting replication. Remember that you can't failover a session with that box ticked, it shows it's only used for NDMP backups.
