PN557W PEN does not work when in contact with the screen

The pen connects just fine with the computer, it detects it and all of it buttons work. The problem is that it only active on screen when the tip of the pen is very near the screen, the pen cursor shows up. It follows the movement of the pen just fine. But when the tip of the pen touches the screen of the computer it stops detecting it, like there is no pen.

The point is the only problem i have with the pen is when i try to use it by pressing the point to the screen which is the only way to use it. The screen only responds to the pen when the tip is in proximity (very close to the screen) but not in contact.

Its a super weird problem difficult to explain, i have found nothing in the forums perhaps because of this.
