No image with web camera for Latitude 7280

I bought my laptop second-hand. I'm able to use the web camera for Zoom calls but it doesn't work with any web camera software that I uploaded. I get a black screen similar to what other people have said on the forum.

I don't have a slider on my camera. I only have a camera on the front and not the rear of the laptop. The camera will film but I can't see any image while it's filming. I just have a black screen.

Please advise me on how to fix this and keep it simple. I'm not that tech-savvy. I get frustrated easily.
