Unknown Software Exception (0xe0434352) Occurred in the Application at Location

Hi Guys,

Please, I need your help in order to identify this error: "The exception unknown software exception (0xe0434352) occurred in the application at location 0xc55c8e8c.

We have a Power Edge t340 Domain Controler with Windows 2012 and since last week we are facing this kind of error. It's very weird because we didn't have any updating or software installing.

After this error our server restart automatically. You have any idea ??

Hi,

With the Information, Unknown Software Exception occured in the Application.

As OS is windows2012 and no issues till now, few preliminary check points will getout of this issue.
1. first check is with any application got installed recently.try to go ahead and uninstall that application/software.
if No Applicaiton/software installed recently,
2. second, check the drives for Errors with the command chkdsk /f with administrator privileges.
if no Error ,
3. Third is to verify system scannow, try for the command with administrator privileges
C:\WINDOWS\system32>Sfc /scannow
Beginning system scan. This process will take some time
Beginning verification phase of system scan.

4. Hope with any of these three options, issue should be fixed
if not system restore can be attempted, win+r ->sysdm.cpl->System Protection->System Restore
Click on the restore point you want to use, click on next and follow the prompts to restore and reboot.

pls let me know, if this helps
still the issue persists,

Thanks

Hi Sirisha...I wonder if the advice you gave for the Unknown Software Exception is the same as you gave in 2020.  I have the same problem that's been going on intermittently for a couple of months.  (You'd think Dell would give us more information.  Surely they can trace the app involved.)

Here is the error and my system specs are pasted below that.

I have this exact same error message having dealt with it for about 3 weeks. I have gotten very little help from the Dell support folks other than going in remotely and running their diagnostics, update driver routine etc which is all they seem to want to do - and this has not helped.

For my issue, if I reboot it does not show up. When I leave my system on over night, then it will show up shortly after the system wakes up. This is quite frustrating.

I have the same error message. It has been occurring 3-4 times per week for approximately 6 months and requires a reboot. I have performed system scans, run chkdsk and fully restored the system twice. A clean system with zero applications beyond bare windows and Dell Instrumentation still fails. Nothing makes the error stop. I have lost many hours trying to find the issue. I will not buy another Dell product.

Same issue here. Pops up randomly when I have not used the computer for a few hours. Whats up Dell.

I was having OS issues on my new Dell, they sent out a technician to change out the motherboard. A few days later I am getting this exception issue. So frustrating that my brand new computer keeps having issues. What's up?
