OMSA on windows server 2012, "Execute application" not working under Alert Management Alert Actions
Hello, please assist
I'm working off this guide: xyfon.com/.../setup-email-notifications-dell-openmanage
It works for my windows 2003 server with open manage on it. However I'm unable to get open manage to send an alert from a windows 2012 system. It works at the command line but not at the "Execute application" absolute path part of the Alert Management. I tried all the suggestions in the thread. Anyone know if this works for win2012 or how to get it to work?

Ah, actually it looks like it may be working now. May have had to do with how I was testing the temp failure or maybe I changed some things in between testing. I tried it a couple more times and it seems to have triggered the email to be sent out now
The absolute path to the application i used is:
C:\DellSMTPNotify\DellSMTPNotify.exe 3
no quotes around it.

What model server is it? What version of OMSA are you running? Does it work from CLI?

Dell R610, OMSA 7.3.0, the tool works (I get the email) from the command line if that is what you mean.
I'm testing both servers the same way. Setting up the execute application on the temp warning alert and changing the minimum temp threshold for the system. And I can see in the Alert Log that it should be triggered
