linux.dell.com is unreliable (many connection timeouts, resets or SSL handshake failures)
Hi,
We mirror a few repositories from
linux.dell.com and lately this host is rather unreliable.
We see quite a lot of connection timeouts, resets or SSL handshake failures.
For details see the paste at

Could you please have a look at what is wrong with this host?
Furthermore could you please add valid contact information to
https://linux.dell.com/ so that we can reach out directly to whoever maintains this host? I've tried to mail
linux-poweredge@dell.com as mentioned on
https://linux.dell.com/ but got a bounce.

Hello,
Sorry for the trouble, I don't have any direct contact information about this site either. When I check the mailing list here, I can see similar complaints from multiple people on linux-poweredge@dell.com The Linux-PowerEdge Archives (dell.com)
I even saw that there were other problems in the community. But when I checked internally, there are cases that are still under investigation about linux.dell.com. I'm guessing maybe it's the effect of a maintenance work, but I'm not sure. I will add the details you shared and raise a ticket.

Thanks. https://linux.dell.com/ seems to work reliably again.
Were there any details in the ticket what was wrong?
Also could anyone update https://linux.dell.com/ and add valid contact information?

I also can confirm it is down, which appears we are having an outage. Please be patient and it should be back up as soon as possible.

Hi, yesterday i made a mirror of linux.dell.com. So if anyone need and alternative I have made it public here: https://mirror.seemee.dk
