Issue with PowerEdge R750
Good day.
I have server Dell PowerEdge R750 with installed BIOS version 1.12.1 and iDRAC version 7.00.30.00. (BIOS and iDRAC is Latest versions for this server)
Previously i has installed PCIe Drives Samsung PM1735 HHHL 1.6TB Model: MZ-PLJ1T60 and all was OK.
Now i has replaces this SSD drives with PM1735 3.2TB Model: MZ-PLJ3T2H and iDRAC show Capacity of Drive 0, else in status section i see Unknown status of this Drive.
LifeCycle Logs show this message:
SRV015 Unable to export Storage Controller Log information of PCIeSSD.Slot.6-1 because of an issue in communicating with the controller.
Please help with this problem, may be this SSD drive is not compatible with this server?

Hi, if the SSD drives non-Dell certified it could be the reason. Because SSDs may not be recognized based on firmware. Frankly, I think this is the biggest possibility. I would check the BIOS settings for NVMe configured. Please check iDRAC, BIOS, PERC and backplane firmware up to date.
