Cannot Install Server 2019 on PowerEdge R720xd - No NIC or OS options in Lifecycle Controller
I cannot seem to get updates to work--every firmware EXE I've downloaded fails from the Lifecycle Controller. I can't configure Network Settings because no NIC is available to select. I have installed a Trial Enterprise license (I think, it said successful). Ultimately I want to install Windows Server 2019, but it blue screens and crashes during install every time. I'm assuming I should install it from the lifecycle controller, but doubt 2019 will be an option, and right now, there is no OS Install option in lifecycle controller. The home page tells me to update the Firmware, but can't get that to work.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks!

What error are you getting when try to update firmware using Lifecycle Controller? Are you trying using USB key or any other method? If you can access iDRAC you can try to update firmware using iDRAC GUI. You can get more details on this from below link

Windows Server 2019 operating system is not supported on R720. You can refer below link for list of supported windows operating system for R720. As this is not a supported operating system on R720, you will not see an option to install this OS from Lifecycle Controller.
