this is normal behaviour. Please refer to the documentation. EMC Solutions Enabler SRDF Family CLI guide.
For asynchronous replication, all devices in an SRDF group must be managed together.
If you no longer wish to replicate a set of devices in the same SRDF/A session you can move to a different SRDF group with the movepair command or deletepair as you have done
