Did you get any error code when you tried to create the pair?

It sounds like a base connectivity issue to me.

Have you done a create between these two array pairs before?

verify that you have array to array connectivity with 'symsan -sid XX list -sanrdf -dir all' and that you don't have network or circuit issue but syssan needs to see the array RAs for sure for it to work
