Task in progress. Wait for previous task to finish.

My SupportAssist hasn't been working for the last month. It stays stuck at 0% on Get Drivers and Downloads no matter how long I leave it. If I click on 'Okay' when it says 'Task in Progress', it changes to 'Run All' and says 'We're Ready to Help...' - but still says 0% in Drivers and Downloads - and none of the other 'Run' buttons are functional.

I followed the advice to uninstall SupportAssist and reinstall it - but that hasn't changed anything. It just tells me I've got the latest version.

PS: it is now working. Having reinstalled SupportAssist and done a restart - it wasn't working. I then did a manual check for Windows updates which installed ‘2022-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based systems (KB5021255)' and it then worked. I'm not sure if that's just coincidence but all seems well.

Method 1: Rename the New-Dell-Logo-White-Small File.
Method 2: Update to the Latest Windows System.
Method 3: Reinstall Dell SupportAssist.
Method 4: Check for Virus or Malware.

@John harper none of those methods help with the system busy error.
