SupportAssist OS Recovery Tool canot see last bacup file

Using the SupportAssist OS Recovery Tool, I am trying to restore a previously created backup of files, applications, and settings to an external USB drive.

I created the backup using the SupportAssist OS Recovery Tool during system startup (pressing F12). After reinstalling the system, I go to the "Restore files" -> "Recover more files" tab and get the message "Cannot find the latest backup. Make sure the correct external storage device is connected to the device."

The drive is properly connected because I can browse the files through Windows Explorer.

Please help me figure out what I am doing wrong.
