Same, probably a problem with the latest update that they need to fix.

I have the same error - a press of the "Run Now" button in "Get Drivers & Downloads" produces this error. I have version Version [3.4.0.200] running on an XPS 15 (9570)

I have the same error message, I can't upload my drivers via Support Assist on my Aspiron 5480.

It's not the first time I have issues with this program, I bought my PC in August 2019 and I already have had many problems like the downloading of updates was stuck so I had to download and install everything manually via Dell.com ...

(I'm currently using version 3.4.1.49 of Support Assist)

Same problem than reported by other users.

Support assist used to work perfectly well on my Dell Inspiron 5748 and I used to run a full check weekly but lately the message "unexpected error..." comes up all the time at the "Scan Hardware" step.

I have installed support assist 3.4.1

When I try to run the "Get drivers & downloads" command in SupportAssist, this is what I get:
