Dell Alienware M15 software update failed and computer inoperable

Connected M15 to Dell support site. Site interrogated computer correctly and said computer needed four critical updates - Bios, video card, harddrive and Flash (not sure what that is?)

Site downloaded software and started updates. Bios updated and computer requested manual restart. I restarted and computer has completely failed. Does absolutely nothing. Sent it to Dell after warranty support and they claim the motherboard and harddrive hardware failure from their update. Pay $610. What do I do now?
