Error: Configuration lock could not be obtained

I am getting the error "Configuration lock could not be obtained" while trying to make configuration changes to Symmetrix array from ECC.

I was trying to execute a change before and that failed after that I am getting the above error message.

symcfg -sid xxx list -lock -lockn all

Lock Lock Lock Time
SymmID Attachment Status Number Usage Held (Sec)

XXX Local Locked 15 Config Change 1917


Can I use the below command to clear the lock
symcfg -sid XXX -lockn 15 release -force
