Alienware Laptop Storage Issue

HI,

I am really struggling with the C drive constantly telling me that the storage is full or I cant download anything because I don't have enough space. I bought this Laptop with a 1TB hard drive thinking that would be brilliant but everything I download or install saves straight to the C: Drive and I cant seem to move them to the Drive.

It's very frustrating that I have a 250GB SSD but cant use the 1TB Hard drive I have?

Any help would be appreciated, especially if there is a way to save it so that no matter what I download or install saves automatically to the Drive?

Whatever happened to the good old days of whatever you downloaded went onto the laptop and then if you wanted to delete something then it was as simple as Uninstall programme and BOOM it was done and you had that free space back? I've paid a lot of money for a Laptop that I really dread using which shouldn't be the case!
