Question with Inspiron 2650 installing new Hitachi 7k60 harddisk.

I use the ps2 with no problem. Most of the adapters are 5 volt  dc.  Radio Shack has them. You must be sure the polarity is the same as the card though. Look at the instructions with the card and make sure the + and - are correct. I have two drive cases, they are both different, one the center post is the ( - ) and the other is ( + ) That is the way I would expect it to be, but if I had not checked the other I would have hooked it up wrong. It' a pain cause I have to be careful I don't use the wrong cord.

I see....thanks..
I think I give up on those 2.5" harddisk..
I might get those 3.5" harddisk external.
Can have a higher storage with lower price.
Although is lot bigger and need a power adaptor....
