Optiplex won't boot detect hard drive
I've replaced the hard drive in our Optiplex. Checked setup and all IDE devices were set to auto and were detected properly. But the computer tries to boot PXE... Removed PXE from the boot list... no luck, upgrade bios to A10... no dice, removed all ide devices except the hdd (set to master then cable select) which is on the primary ide controller... still nothing, reset all to factory defaults using the MB jumper...nothing again. This new drive is detected each time and works fine in other computers. Am I missing something obvious? TIA.

No, I no longer get the PXE message (sorry I guess I should've explained that). Short term I had set all other IDE devices to none. Right now I get "strike F1 to reboot, F2 for setup". F1 loops me back to the same message. F2 takes me to setup where I see the drive is detected.
Thanks for your help.
