hard drive imaging software/backup

Was wondering which of the following image software programs would copy the original dell harddrive and all restore and utility partitions. Would also want to use software as regular periodic backup to an external hard drive connected via usb 2.0 . The software programs I was considering are:

1. Casper XP 3.0
2. Norton Ghost 9 or is Norton Ghost 10 better
3. Acronis Drive Image 8 or 9

Also, which of these programs are rated for novice/easy to use.  I'm not looking for complicated software. Just something with easy to follow directions. Any input, thoughts,or recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I have both True Image 8 and 9 and I recommend True Image over any Norton program. As it will be hard to find TI 8 since TI 9 has come out and now TI 9 is stable, it wasn't when first released, I suggest you get TI 9 Build 2337.

I like and use Acronis True Image 8 myself and it will do what your asking from easy to use user interface.

Ghost 9 or 10 cannot do it. Only TrueImage 9 or 10 have the capability.

I know Ghost 9 and 10 have a sector-copy mode, but it isn't trivial to make it work. If you use that, it should make a perfect clone of the original disc.
