Error code 0xc00000e9 Dell XPS M1530
PC no longer boot up and I didnt back up or create recovery disk, when i perform the diagnostic it shows me error code 2000-0146, tried many things.
-I tried to restore settings by load defaults but it did no allowed to select "yes" to change.
-I changed to ATA '
-I use an other cd to boot and pass dell and starting windows logos then stop at blank screen only mouse pointer at screen.

Hi Amanrique,
Error code 2000-0146 normally indicates a failed hard drive, which is consistent with that blue screen error. You'll need to install a new hard drive, then you'll need to reinstall the operating system. I've got a link to a Windows reinstallation guide below.

Well if this is the needed I will do, I want to upgrade to 1tb is this posible for my PC with no problems and what characteristics recommend for the new one. Quote both 3 options please

Your hard drive controller is SATA II, so pretty much any current technology SATA laptop hard drive will work. You also have the option to use one of the newer hybrid drives or an SSD for better performance.
