Hi,

You may do better to get a bigger hard drive for your computer. You may also be able to get a faster one depending on what you have now.

If you get the Apricorn EZGIG upgrade kit and a  bigger drive you can transfer all to a larger drive and then also have an external drive.

Hitachi Travelstar upgrade kits include the EZgig kit and a Drive in 40,60,80,100 gigs depending on which one you choose.

I am using a 2.5 HD caddy I bought off Ebay for .99.  That is right .99.  It has the dual cable but I only need to use one connection on my D600.  I have an 80 GB 5400 drive in the caddy.  It worked just by plugging in.  No problems.  I also have a 2.5 sata ex drive that I cannot find drivers for to connect to my laptop.
