Exclude Tasks, Contacts, Notes and Calendar items from Searches
What search options do I need to use to exclude non mail messages. Eg I want to search all messages for the term EMC and EmailXtender but exclude Outlook Tasks, Appointments, Notes and Contacts from the results.
One way is to sort the messages and remove these from the displayed list but when the # messages searched are in the 100's of thousands this gets cumbersome.
Seems like there would be an easy way to exclude them (or a way to just include email messages)
Anyone any idea how to do this?

EMC and EmailXtender and 0 IN xvMsgClass
I think the '0 IN MsgClass' bit limits the search to email messages only.
Let me know if that helps.

Following are few more I could think of
Contacts=1
Appointments=2
Tasks=3
Posted notes=4
Journal entries=5
Sticky notes=6
