emailXtender is sql 2005, emailXaminer is sql 2000 -- i cant search?

Sounds like the ODBC connection from the EmailXaminer server is still pointed to the old location of the EmailXtender database and not your new SQL 2005 machine. You'll need to go into your EmailXaminer machine and adjust the ODBC connection. If you have one EX server it will appear as "EmailExtender00". If you re-configure it, and point it to the new DB server. When you re-enter the password I beleive it's the same as the username already listed. Don't remove and re-add the DSN as the naming is critical. If re-configuring with the new server name doesn't correct the problem then you should call support to have them take a look.
