Connection to SourceOne Search Website times out
Hi I have configured SourceOne as per the installation guide but cannot acces the website form anywhere apart from the local host itself. Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

Hi All,
Issue has been resolved. It turned out that Windows Firewall was blocking port 80

If you access search using http://%hostname%/search/ does that work ? Here %hostName% is to be replaced with real host name. Please check that from host itself and other machines.
If it would work from host itself then it would mean there is no issue with IIS or host configuration most likely issue is with name resolution from other machines.
If host itself has issue you may want to check name resolution still because if http://localhost/search is working there is no reason for same URL not to work with hostname. One more thing you may want to be sure that IE on host is not using proxy because sometimes proxy complicate things.
You can always open service request with DELL EMC SourceOne support for them to look at your setup.
