Does SAE 4.0 replace SRS Virtual Edition?
We currently use SRS Virtual Edition and have Data Domain, Isilon, VXRail, XIO and VNX reporting to it. Can SAE 4.0 replace our SRS

Hey,
nope, won't work. SAE 4.0 needs to be configured from scratch. There is no option to integrate or import any settings/configs.
So in case you just have the legacy EMC systems - stay on SRS.
If you have a mixed infrastructure then you should think about setting up and configuring SAE 4.0.
Cheers

Hi,
yes, this is the long term plan
But as long as SRS works fine you may use it along. SAE 4.0 will enable you to also monitor the Dell systems.
Hope that helps.
Cheers

Can SAE 4.0 be used as an SRS gateway now. Because I will need to re-configure VXRail, Isilon, DataDomains XIO and VNX to talk to SAE 4.0 if it's going act as the SRS gateway now.
