SE Version for RM5.1 and Windows x64
I have been having trouble finding in E-Lab the supported versions of Solutions Enabler for RM5.1 clients. The release notes also were no help. I read a previous post by James Baldwin that stated that x64 versions of SE would be supported in RM5.1 but could not find the corresponding support statements in E-Lab.
My Environment:
Windows Server 2003 x64 R2 SP2
Symmetrix DMX-4
RM 5.1
I saw that SE 6.4 was supported for RM5.1 but it did not specify whether x64 was supported. Can someone clarify for me?
Thanks,
Aran

Unfortunately, general support for x64 SE did not come in RM 5.1, so you do need to continue to use the SE x86 version. I recommend SE 6.4.2.20, which is available on the RM software downloads page on Powerlink just under the RM software itself.
As FYI...
If you are using SRDF/CE 2.x on x64, which mandates SE x64 version, engineering built a layer into RM Client agent to support this (and this configuration only). You see the option during the RM client installation on x64, as an additional tickbox to the Exchange 2007 Agent installation.
Hope it helps.
James.

I just read you response to stu000000000000 ( not sure on the number of zeros...) and saw the reference to the SE download section on the RM download page. Thanks, that answers my question

Thanks for the answer.
Is 6.4.3 not supported yet in RM 5.1? I would like to be on the latest rev supported to take advantage of bug fixes and improvements to SE.
Also can you tell me the right combination of items to select in the E-Lab Navigator to find this for myself in the future? I had a difficult time trying to find SE versions supported by RM in E-Lab.
Thanks,
Aran
