Replication Manager 5.4.4 and VPLEX luns

I just wanted to ensure all are aware that RM's ability to replicate vplex luns is currently limited to Recoverpoint Bookmarks only.

If you currently have RM making array based replicas of the source lun directly or array based replicas of the RP bookmarks, do not convert your source luns to VPLEX luns expecting RM to be able to continue to be able to make the array based replicas.

A couple of cases have come in lately with this concern, and I just wanted to get this info out there to help head off any future similar situations.

Per the RM 5.4.4 release notes, new feature section:

VPLEX virtual volumes support — You can create and manage RecoverPoint bookmarks (CDP/CRR/CLR) of your applications residing on VPLEX virtual volumes and protected by RecoverPoint.
