Replication fails with symbolic links in windows 2008

Firstly, sorry for my poor english but i'm french ... ;)

I test Replistor 6.3SP2 (Eval version) in a DataCollector context with VMware to replicate my VMs on a Disaster Recovery Site.

I have a problem with Windows 2008 (x86, FR) to replicate the c:\ partition. The replication fails because Windows 2008 use symbolic link. If i exclude a directory where there are symbolic links, it's good. But it's not a solution because there are many symbolic links.

What can i do ?
Replistor in version 6.4 corrects this problem ? if yes, where can i found the 6.4 eval version ?

RepliStor 6.4 will be posted back on PowerLink today. It it will contain a fix for the issue you are describing.

6.4 also support the replication of directory links/reparse points.

jjay,

As Duncan mentioned, this was not supported until 6.4. Version 6.4 also adds support for replication of the most popular Single Instance Storage (SIS). It also allows customers to add new or non-default Repease Points. See the default list of popular Reparse Point S/W in Options > Reparse Points (Button)
