Problems connecting clients a cluster failover.
Hello
I have a problem connecting the client computer after a cluster failover.
The clients work after the failover furthermore with the address MAC of the "old" server.
What can i do ?
Server OS Windows Server 2008 Standard with SP1
Client OS Windows 2000 professional / Windows XP Pro. / Windows NT 4
Can somebody help me to solve the problem?
Many thanks

When it is a failover in windows2003, gratuitous arp packet is transmitted.
Therefore, there is no problem in the connection of the client.
When it is a failover in Windows2008, gratuitous arp packet is not transmitted.
It may be a issue peculiar to windows2008.
This is a cause of this phenomenon.
I will contact EMC Support.

Specifications of the gratuitous ARP packet seem to have changed in Windows2008,Vista.
Can't deal with this in AutoStart and RepliStor
I reported this issue.
The HA product of other vendors can deal with this.
EMC is behind with working.
