how quick to backup a 800GB SQL database RP will be?
I am new to here, and I could not find a matrix for backup and restore speed using Replication Manager on VNX.
Could you please let me know where I can find a matrix like backup 100 GB database will take 1 minutes, 1TB will be 10 minutes, same as restore.

Hi,
There is no such matrix for Replication Manager that would tell how long it will take to replicate/restore data. The speed will depend on lot of environmental factors like choice of disks(FC/SATA /EFD),Network speed etc.
Apart from sync time Replication Manager will take some extra time for freezing and thawing the applications and cataloging the replicas.

Thanks VikSharma. But I want to know how many minutes around. Like 1 minute to 10 minutes to clone 1 TB or around 1 hour?

From Replication manager there is no way to find that out, I would suggest opening a thread on VNX would help. They may be able to guide you what factors need to be looked at when trying to calculate the sync speed.
