DNS Settings / Documentation
I need to change the DNS settings on our Recoverpoint Gen4 hosts.
So. I thought I would download support docs - they do not seem to be on powerlink and I can't find them on support.emc.com
Where can I get the support manuals?
How do I change DNS settings?
Is it as simple as making a putty session and changing resolv.conf ?
I don't seem to be able to log in as root.
When I try boxmgmt - I get a menu but I can't see DNS in the list.

You can use Deployment Manager System Modification Wizard. See EMC RecoverPoint Deployment Manager Product Guide, starting on page 187. Alternatively, ssh as boxmgmt and it will be under setup. You will have to make the change on every RPA at that site.

Thanks for your quick reply.
The manual shows that you can select "System Modification Wizard," however that does not seem to be an option that I am presented with.
Any ideas?

I just checked and I have that option. Are you using DM 1.1?

I found a version with the System Modification Wizard.

System modification is not supported for RecoverPoint release 3.4.SP1.P1(k.140).
I'll poke around in putty...

Where can I Downlo RecoverPoint Deployment Manager (1.1)?
All the manuals and instructions Guides refer to Powerlink>Support>Software Downloads and Licensing>Downloads P-R>HERE THE RECOVERPOINT LINK REFERENCE doesn't apear.
Can anyone help me with that? Send me the link, maybe.
