Deleting Recover Point Replica Sets
Hi we have a SRM/Recoverpoint failover set-up
We need to remove about 10 LUNs from recoverpoint replication - all in same consistency group
Just need to know the steps
Is it as follows ?
1 Disable consistency group
2 Delete replica sets
3 Enable consistency group
I know you lose the journals and a full sweep initialisation is activated?? how does this impact the remaining replicated LUNs as we have a number of VMs running on these?

Hi Mike,
If you upgrade to the latest 5.0.x release then the rsets can be removed without impact to the journal. No need to disable or enable the CG. Before removing rsets you will need to take the CG out of SRM external management control.

Hi Mike
I was also looking for similar info. We are trying to move one lun from CG and add to another CG. the process to do that would be below and please correct me if I miss something.
Disable Rset
Add that set to target CG.
Question is, if we disable the set, what would happen to data in Journal.
