completely fracture a clone from source
I've done some searching in the product guide and the admin guide trying to find an answer but can't seem to. In Replication Manager, is it possible to completely fracture a clone from it's source so the clone cache doesn't track the changes anymore?
My situation is that I have a clone of a volume group in aix with a snap shot of that clone mounted on another server. I have to reorganize the source luns and resize them but I don't want to lose the clone that I have a snapshot of. Can the source luns be totally removed and have no impact on the clone?

I'm not sure of all of the RM steps needed, or if it's possible to do what you want in the RM GUI. I've used RM for snaps/clones, but it's been a while. This should do just fine though.
It always helps if you have a dev/test environment to test this stuff out before doing it in production.
In RM
Disable the clone/snap job if it's scheduled. Don't umount/delete the replicas.
In Navisphere
Snapview -> Clones -> GloneGroupName -> CloneID (Probably something like 010000000000)
Right click over the CloneID and select Remove
That will remove the LUN from the Clone Group - It won't destroy the data on the clone LUN, it'll just remove the synch relationship and the Clone Private LUN data for that copy.
Once you get your source LUNs reconfigured - You might need to reconfigure your RM hosts/Application Sets, as well as create larger LUNs for the clones - You might want to open a case with EMC for the RM steps needed.
