Cannot remove hosts from AD Site List
Hi,
I have a problem where my customer has decommissioned a few RepliStor hosts and needs to remove them from his AD Site List, however he is unable to do so.
He finds the container, confirms to delete it but it does not go anywhere, it just stays intact. No errors at all, it just does not delete.
This is a Win2003 AD with RepliStor 5.3.4 (I know, it's old). The hosts were taken offline before attempting to remove the containers. He is using the Domain Admins account and has tried logging on to the DC to do this but has had no luck.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Justin

Method of deleting site list.
1) Adsiedit.msc does execute with the domain controller.
2) Please open the tree, and look at the following object.
[Domain] - [DC=Domain Name] - [CN=System] - [CN=Legato] - [CN=RepliStor] - [CN= ]
3) Please select [CN= ], and delete the site name.

Thanks for your response. I had thought about adsiedit but wasn't too sure.
I'll go through this, thanks again.

One note to look out for. With newer versions of RS, the location for the Site List has changed in Active Directory.

Please note that the new path is the following:
