Autostart SRDF - Could Not Fail Over To Second Node
Hi everyone,
Cluster is setup completed, using EMC Autostart 5..3SP4. SRDF looks ok and can run SRDF data source and all other resources on one node (R1), but it is failing on the other node (R2), showing the following error
ID00002142 DEBUG: RUN_RDF_CMD(), SYMDgRDFcontrol result: Symapi_C_License_checkID00002091 error(8999): could not fail device
I don't think it is an issue with license because if it is working on one node, it should on the other, unless I am wrong. The license I put is a permanent one as shown in console.
Thanks in advance for the help

The AutoStart SRDF Data Source uses the Solutions Enabler API (SYMAPI) to accomplish the RDF failover. The Solutions Enabler software must be licensed on the clients to be able to perform functions against the RDF devices. The message appears to be referencing the Solutions Enabler license validation during the SRDF Data Source failover. I would suggest validating that the Solutions Enabler software is properly licensed on the troubled client.
