AutoStart behaviour during RAID rebuild on standby server
Hello,
Help me please to find any documentation or hints about AutoStart behaviour in the following case.
I have two similar Windows'2003 servers, configured by AutoStart software to HighAvailability pair. When some processes are failed on one server, AutoStart launches a failover to another server.
There is RAID 1 on both servers. Is it possible to rebuild RAID on the standby server when the Resource group is on-line? How AutoStart manages resource drives synchronization during RAID rebuild?
Thanks.

It is possible.
The mirror of AutoStart is possible even if it is rebuilding it.

Are you aware about any issue with disks synchronization by AutoStart, caused by RAID rebuild?

There is no problem.
Please refer to the following procedure.
I'm sorry by poor English.
Reference
* Please backup.
1.All the resource groups are moved to the server that works normally.
2.The server is shut down, and the disk that breaks down is replaced.
3.OS is started.
4."Disk Management" is used, the disk is signed.
5.Set the drive of the same drive character and the size.
6.Turn off a resource group
7.Delete a data source from the resource group.
8.The data source is deleted from the Data Sources tree.
9.The data source is set again.
*Please note Drive Selection.
Source Node --- An active server
Target Node --- The server that a disk was broken
Attention
Data disappears when the target node is mistaken for the source node.
10.Add a data source to the resource group.
11.Please do bring Online to an active server until a while ago.
12.The mirror is begun.

Thank you very much!
Also I've got the answer from EMC support. Look on Service Request 31474374 if any.
