Recoverpoint Local and Remote Replication
Hi,
We have RP SE and we are planning to perform the Local and Remote replication. In there we want to clarify, 1. What happens if we fail over form actual production copy to local copy ? Is the replication stop form actual production copy to DR copy ? 2. In a scenario if we fail over to actual production copy to local copy is the replication occurs form local copy to DR copy ?
3. If we perform the fail over to actual production copy to DR copy is the replication will pause to the local copy ? or can we replicate to both previous actual copy and local copy ?
4. In the above scenario explained on query #3 after perform the fail over DR copy can we fail back to previous actual copy and then can start the replication again the local copy ?
Pls advise. @fadliz
Thanks,
Pasindu.

Definitely check out the admin guide but in essence, when there's more than 1 replica copy when setting as prod after failover, the user would be given an option whether to create the links between the new prod and the other replica copies. After the link is created, a full sweep would be performed.
