Upgrade firmware PowerEdge R710 using iDrac
Hi all, I am a junior system administrator and I would upgrade firmware on a Dell PowerEdge 710. I have seen that I have different way to do it. I would try to upgrade just "urgent" firmware using iDrac (I have already enable it and I have assigned an IP address), if it is possible. I have visited this page
https://www.dell.com/support/home/it-it/product-support/product/poweredge-r710/drivers I did not understand which firmware download because I have not found the right file to download. On this server will be Windows Server 2016. Thanks in advanced! Best regards

Hello,
you can click on change product on the drive website and insert the service tag.
It will list all updates for your service tag.
Which file you are searching for in particular?
Thanks
Marco

Hello,
yes I confirm, update from LifeCycle Controller is no more supported for that generation of server.

Thanks for your reply.
I have tried to upgrade it using Life cycle but it doesn't work.
I have read that Dell PowerEdge as R710 has not been supported.
Is it true?
Thanks

Hello,
I have seen that there is option to use USB repository.
How can I use it? Is there ISO file?
Thanks!

Hello Frederico,
The R710 was removed from our repository, so this would affect the Lifecycle controller, as you and Marco had mentioned, but also Repository Manager, which powers the creation of the ISO files. You could create your own ISO with repository manager, but you'd also need to manually create your own repository to do so.

Dear @Dell-DylanJ ,
thanks for your reply.
I have found this article about the creation of repository:
