S150 RAID Multiple arrays

Is there a limitation for S150 raid to a single array? I have tried to create two arrays. One with a pair of 2TB SATA spinners. And one with a pair of 960gb SSD. When I try to create one array it deletes the other. It looks like maybe a limitation of the controller.

S150 support creating multiple virtual disk. Can you share the steps followed to create virtual disk. Can you also try creating two virtual disk by having all drives as HDD or SSD.

I saw below note on the S150 user guide (Link Below)

Mixing drives of different speeds (rpm) and bandwidths (Gbps) while maintaining the same drive type (SATA) and technology (HDD or SSD) is supported.

Hi @DewayneD,

The PERC S150 has a limit of 30 virtual arrays. https://dell.to/3tz75wF

It's weird that it's deleting the first created VD. With that said, have you tried creating the SSD array first then the SATA drive array?

If possible, try taking a video of your creation steps that leads to the issue and upload it to Youtube. That can help us see better what's going on, further more provide assistance.
