How to turn on trace information for the ProSphere User Interface (UI)

Hi,

UI actions and internal messages are tracked and trace information can be displayed during a session. The messages can be sorted by Class, Level, Message, or Timestamp. They are also filterable by Class, Level, or Message contents.

To view View UI Trace information do the following:

1.On a screen in the ProSphere Console, put the pointer on a banner.

2.Hold down Shift-Ctrl-Alt and click with your mouse. The UI Trace Window displays information about user interface events.

Review the EMC ProSphere Administrators Guide for more information on this Feature.

You actually only need to use Ctrl-Shift and then click the EMC ProSphere banner.  The UI trace, among other things, will show you the URI called to execute an action or retrieve data from the ProSphere Rest API.  Refer to the ProSphere REST API Online Help for more information.
