Outlook e-mail

I am receiving my e-mail through outlook, however, when I receive the e-mail in the reading pane it says "This item cannot be received from the server". I then have to right click on each e-mail and select "Mark to dowload messages".

How do I resolve this so when I receive e-mail I can read the e-mail message with selecting "Mark to download messages"
