Downgrading to Word 2007

Hi

When I purchased my Dell, it came with a pre-installed version of Office Home and Student 2021.  As a writer, word processing software is very important to me and so I think you can understand my feelings when I tell you I have rapidly developed a deep loathing for Word 2021.  It is a major step down from Word 2007, which I used previously and was itself a step down from Word 2000.  I’m not sure if the problems are caused by my needing to import old documents, and collaborate on projects (the comments system is probably best described as a nightmare) or deeper problems within the offline software (I don’t buy ‘buy-to-rent’ software because I don’t trust it.)  The interface is  and so different from 2007 that I find myself losing it every so often.

(Not to mention it defaulting to US English, to the point I have to delete it to convince the program to use a UK spellcheck)

So … can I install Word 2007 on my Dell? I still have the CD and the code.
