Printer issue: Epson vs Dell

Thanks for your assistance.  Unfortunately, your suggestion applies to settings on a laptop or other battery-operated device.  My Dell is an all-in-one desktop, and the settings do not correspond to the ones you suggested.  I did turn off the sleep setting, and I rebooted my router, which seemed to keep the printer happy and engaged.  This is a puzzling problem, not only for me, but for at least two of my friends, both of whom could have invented the Internet (if they cared enough).  I have also been in touch with Epson, and the technician I spoke with wasn't able to solve the problem either.  If you can come up with a permanent solution, you would likely win the Nobel Prize for Printers.  Thanks again.

We are currently experiencing a printer issue between two different models, an Epson and a Dell. The issue appears to be related to compatibility between the two models, as the Dell printer is not recognizing the Epson printer.
