Storage upgrade for dell precision 3530

Hey everyone I have a dell precision 3530 laptop with 512 nvme0n1 SSD and I want to add another SSD or hdd of 1tb. How can I add it. I have seen some comments online saying that 256gb is max for secondary drive is this true if it's not what SSD or hdd do you suggest me.
