Precision 7510 keeps shutting down while on charge
I got this used laptop, it worked fine for the first 5 days, after that it kept shutting down whenever I was using the GPU (for gaming) strangely enough, it is always when the laptop is on charge, the gpu temperature is around 60-70 degree Celsius too so it is not an overheating issue.
I reinstalled the windows, it worked perfect for a week after that but now I am facing this same issue.
I even updated all of the drivers, the BIOS, everything but still nothing, need help!!

If your Precision 7510 laptop keeps shutting down while it's on charge, there could be several possible reasons for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow to try and resolve the problem:
Check the power adapter and charging cable: Ensure that the power adapter and charging cable are working correctly. Sometimes, faulty chargers or cables can cause power fluctuations and result in unexpected shutdowns. Try using a different charging cable and adapter to see if the issue persists.
Overheating: Excessive heat can lead to automatic shutdowns to protect the laptop from damage. Check if the laptop is overheating during charging. Make sure the cooling vents are clear of dust and debris and that the laptop is placed on a flat, hard surface to allow proper airflow.
Battery Issues: The laptop's battery may be faulty or worn out. If the battery is old or damaged, it might not hold a charge properly, leading to unexpected shutdowns. Consider getting the battery replaced by a professional if needed.
Power Settings: Check your power settings to ensure there are no settings that cause the laptop to shut down automatically when charging. Navigate to "Power & Sleep Settings" in Windows and review the options under "Additional power settings."
Software and Drivers: Outdated or corrupted software and drivers can sometimes cause unexpected shutdowns. Make sure your operating system and drivers are up to date. You can check for updates in the Device Manager (Windows) or Software Update (macOS).
Background Applications: Certain applications running in the background could be consuming too much power and causing the laptop to shut down. Try closing unnecessary applications to see if the problem persists.
Battery Calibration: Perform a battery calibration to ensure the battery readings are accurate. This process involves fully charging the battery, discharging it completely, and then charging it again.
Hardware Issues: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there might be a hardware problem with your laptop. In such cases, it's best to contact Dell support or take the laptop to a certified technician for further inspection.
Remember to back up your important data regularly, just in case there is a hardware problem with the laptop. If the laptop is still under warranty, you can also reach out to Dell's customer support for assistance.
