Precision 3541 Quadro P620 GPU not working properly
I have a Dell Precision 3541 with a Quadro P620 graphics card installed. However, for the longest time, I cannot get the graphics card to work. The Quadro GPU is visible in the device manager (and marked as "working properly") but none of my applications detect/use it. When I run graphical software (Fusion 360) it runs on CPU integrated graphics, same for games. MSI afterburner doesn't recognise it and Nvidia control panel won't even run.
I have tried updating to the latest driver (32.0.15.5599), but that usually causes windows to disable the GPU: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". Right now I'm on another version (31.0.15.5274), but it's the one that I found on the Nvidia website for this GPU.
Ever since I got this laptop, I've been having problems related to the GPU (bluescreens...), at some point I had to reinstall windows because the laptop couldn't even load into windows, so needless to say this laptop has been a very frustrating device to work with. Can anybody help?
