Windows 11 24H2 Bluescreen: "System_Thread_exception_not_handled: fltmgr.sys
Dell Precision 5820 (Bios Version: 2.38)
Hello,
I have updated my Windows 11 Pro System to Windows 11 24H2 today. Windows told me to reboot. So I restarted the machine; the dell logo showed up like always, but then I get a blue screen with "System_Thread_exception_not_handled: fltmgr.sys . I have restarted the machine couple of times, but the bluesceen just does not disappear. Is there a way I can boot the machine and roll back from windows 11 24H2 ?
What can I do to solve this problem?

This page at WindowsClub may help. It could be corrupted files. Also run diagnostics, F12 at boot, to ensure hardware integrity.

Hello, I have run the diagnostics; no errors. Now, how can I change the boot sequence to USB Stick, in order to start windows iso from my usb stick?

Hello, I was able to create a win 11 usb bootable stick. Deinstalling functional / qualityupdates have failed.
I ran checkdsk and sfc /scannow... checkdsk found problems and fixed them. But I still get the BlueScreen.

@mkxk You may have to clean install Windows 11 if the file corruption is the source of the problem.

I created a recovery USB Stick ( https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120 )
But the UEFI Boot does not show the usb stick, so I can not choose to boot from it.
Booting from MS Windows 11 Pro USB Stick, created by https://www.microsoft.com/de-de/softwar ... /windows11
works well. The UEFI shows the USB Stick and I can boot from it.
Is there anything I can do in BIOS Settings , so the Workstation recognizes the Veeam USB Stick and I can boot from it?
(We have Veeam Backup & Replication, V. 11 installed on the windows server 2016.)
Greetings

OK, I changed from UEFI Secure Boot to legacy Secure Mode OFF.
I have formatted USB Stick to FAT32 and created the Veeam recovery file again on it. After I changed from UEFI Secure Boot to Legacy insecure mode the USB Stick shows up, so I selected it for booting. After that I get an error telling me that it can not find an OS. I am supposed to unplug every devices that does not carry the OS and I am supposed to reboot.
