Support Assist Error Installing/Running/Scanning Hardware

I have been having issues running the Dell Support Assist program so i tried uninstalling and reinstalling but now it wont even go through the install process all the way. It started by giving a generic error when i would try the hardware scan part. I checked the event logs and found these errors everytime I would run the support tool even if i didnt try hardware scan. It would even at times post these errors when the computer comes on so I guess its trying to run in the background. At this time I have uninstalled it but maybe that corrupted because it took forever (i think i remember that) and it is just unresponsive sometimes opening an black white window and other times. Here are the errors:

and there were errors that would show Dell Tech Hub and I got those the most but they were when i had support assist working atleast installed and loaded it to scan hardware, but also it would give me errors for dell tech hub when its not running as well. I just did a inplace install of windows hoping that would help but it didn't and now I dont have the previous logs to paste to you. Anyone know how i can get this installed, or whats going on? I thought it was something wrong with the hardware and actually called support and they had me do the bios scan both regular and thorough ones and it came back with no errors, well the regular had 1 error stating hdd 2 sensor was reading -10000 degrees which was an error and thats not even an important hard drive burt the thorough came out with nothing. And now i cant get support assist to run at all. Please let me know what other information i might need to give you and ill do that.

Finally I got everything working again, I had to go into safe mode and make sure to uninstall everything using Revo Uninstaller that had the name Dell on it. Also i removed all the Intel drivers and then rebooted to regular mode windows and reisntalled all the dell and intel drivers and such and now its working, atleast somewhat, it runs, but it has crashed a few times. NOT EVERYTIME so im happy enough!

Try Dell Command Update instead of Support Assist.

@bradthetechnut Yes but doesn't that tool only check if there are any updates available ? I am talking about all the other things more so like scanning my hardware and whatever optimizing and clearing cache files it does. mostly its ui for scanning hardware. it still wont show up as anything it used to. All it does is load a big white box, and there are still a minimize and an X to close on the top right so im atleast able to close it regularly but I cant see anything in the app

Yeah I have tried that obviously 100's of times this problem has lasted for months now. I uninstalled the software numerous times, I did everything but reformat which Im trying to keep from doing but looks like i might have to. Right now I just tried again with revo uninstaller, to scan registry and stuff. its removed and ill wait a day and try to reinstall every dell app i deleted.

Is it Support Assist crashing or your PC crashing?

It's not said what PC you have and it's configuration.  Configuration may seem irrelevant, but a couple of things that can cause PC crashes is a lack of RAM and a bad size 2032 CMOS battery.

If the battery is 5+ years old, it's time for replacement.

If PC only crashes while using Support Assist, that could be another story, as in just Support Assist is likely the problem.

If not already, if you want, you could always check out Dell Command Update to see if that's something that would be right for you.

Oh no sorry, it wasn't the PC crashing but when in windows trying to run support assist and especially trying to run the hardware scan, it used to work when i run it, but just it would error out on the hardware scan, and then it stopped working. Or atleast; you know when (not more than a few months ago) they updated the support assist app to showing a nice photo or graphic image on the splash screen or the home screen of the app when i runs?

Well it was showing that kind of image after i updated it and then it stopped showing anything at all. It would just open up a completely blank WHITE window on the desktop (was just the same window it always opened yet it stopped displaying the graphic, or any menu buttons or any tabs, it would show nothing. It did however if i hover toward where the minimize and close buttons are on the window they it would show those buttons to be clicked. Nothing else was able to be done as you couldn't see anything.

And sorry my computer that had that problem is a Dell Precision 3660 base but I have changed all the hard drives, the graphics card, added another pci usb hub card, and total 6 hard drives are in the machine. I was trying to get help from support team but they didn't seem to be able to help me fix the error and reverted to their just recover from the recovery cd (which I never even had that but im a computer tech myself so i can get windows nbut the recovery windows was 10 and i use 11. and I knew that there is always a way to get out of an error, might not be worth spending the 1000's of hours one might need to spend trying to troubleshoot and fix things so i get their auto response of reinstall windows ow recovery cd.

But i have so many programs on my machine with so many preferences and settings that even though everything is backed up, thats settings, and all kinda of everything and setup to reformating and reinstalling all the way to the point of where the system is set up now would still take almost a weeks time in installing and settings changes and such just to get back so i always try to stay away from that option as a last task to try to fix things, and when they heard that all my hard drives were my own purchased after the fact they then said well we cant help you with this anymore I am not asking for help with any of my personal hard drives as they all have no problems with them, im asking them for help fixing an issue that is obviously is their task to do as the computer is mainly all the same motherboard, ram, cpu and such on the machine and the software thats giving me problems is their software so with all the incidents I've have with dell and this current system turned me off to wanting to purchase from them in the future even though almost every computer i bought since 2000 has be dells and i have always recommended them to everyone before.

And i went and spent hours and hours here and there trying to find a way to fix the software and finally weeks later I did it all myself just proving that this was something that can be fixed. Just talking about it now its just getting me upset with that along with all the other problems having to deal with dell to get this computer running correctly and still even though for some reason i get an error saying my processesorcs aren't working at the speed they should or whatever it is now.

But none of that stuff matters anymore anyway ill just deal with using this computer and keep saving my money to just build a new computer myself in the future. And im happy i atleast did get supportassist back running even though half the time lately i disable any dell software to run on the computer and only enable to run chekc updates or whatnot which isn't even much. I am only even rplying to this post as I believe in reporting everything that I have on my end that i can say about my experience so maybe others will know the problems and possibly techs can use that info to help others later get out of any errors.

Thanks for yall time and responses!

Wish I could've been more help.  Support Assist is definitely something Dell needs to fix on their end as other users have also had trouble with it.
