Dell T7810 / 7610 / 5810 10pin CPU connection to 8pin PCIe

Greetings,

here is how to wiring a cable to get the

10pin CPU_2 connection

to

8pin PCIe

Maybe it will help someone.

I bought this one. And it is working fine! (I have 5820 with evga rtx 3090 ftw3 who needs 3x8pin).

I would not do that unless sure that CPU 12V sits on the same winding as periphery 12V, and there is no difference. Advanced PSUs may have dedicated winding for CPU load. Putting there PCI-E with its random power consumption may disrupt CPU power supply with excessive noise and fluctuations. I.e. normally CPUs should be fed from PSU's CPU output only.

I have the regular VGA1 adapter and the CPU2 adapter from ebay that above user mentioned, powering RTX 3080 (2x8PIN) and so far it's been working fine. I have T5810 and my PSU is 1300W.
